Chafee, Chafee,. you guys need to update the rules on this and
restrict lights to tier 4 maybe?Captain_Judo: We expect to keep the 3v3 format constant. However, we're open to
changing tiers to keep things fresh.

not earning any silver or xp in these blitz tournies? I love the
tournaments themselves for several reasons but doing them everyday
and not earning any credits for 2 hours is kind of brutal! Will
they stay like this or will credits/XP be added in the future?
Thanks in advance!Captain_Judo: Unfortunately, there's no immediate plans to award credits in
tournaments.
ikilyourbox, on Jul 27 2013 - 05:00, said: what the hell?My team tied 2 other teams for 2nd place but no special battles are up
Any ideas why?
Captain_Judo: Each Daily Blitz immediately concludes after group play. Ties are
separated based on our tie-breaking rules.
Katoleras, on Jul 27 2013 - 05:33, said: 3 teams tied for 2nd placeIf we use head to head tiebreaker,
Team A won vs Team B, Team B won vs Team C, Team C won vs Team A.
Who gets the second place? lol
Do you just look at the second tiebreaker in these cases?
Captain_Judo: In this case, we'd consider "Opponent Strength". The team with a
loss to the lowest seed forfeits their tied rank. If this still
doesn't separate the teams, then it's a complete draw and the gold
is split.
SolraBizna, on Jul 27 2013 - 19:13, said: So those of us who were hoping to participate in every Sunday
blitz, and were expecting it to have similar scheduling to last
Sunday's blitz, and spent the whole week ramping up for this
Sunday's blitz with their friends, and failed to obsessively
refresh the Tournaments page in case the scheduling was
unexpectedly different... We don't get to play. Lovely. I hope the
19 teams who got in enjoy themselves, at least.Captain_Judo: This is only our 2nd weekend of Daily Blitz. We're finding it best
to have games scheduled prior to the weekend to reduce the risk of
issues with your tournament.
GenPanzer, on Jul 27 2013 - 23:36, said: Ok, well I've been watching this thread since it opened. Perhaps a
nice, friendly announcement in the thread called "Daily Blitz 3 v 3
- General Discussion" would, err, should have been done.Captain_Judo: The Daily Blitz now has it's own forum, which you're in. We're
creating a thread for each day's Daily Blitz. Saturday's and Sunday's blitz offered a notice
advising when registration closed.
trickster, on Jul 28 2013 - 00:53, said: So how do you register for Monday 07/29?Captain_Judo: We're working on an FAQ specific to the Daily Blitz. In the
meantime, simply click on the "participate" button under each Daily
Blitz. This button is removed when registration is closed.
lazyandlate, on Jul 28 2013 - 18:10, said: You tie breaking system is simply horrible. Seems like alphabetical
order determines the finishing position.Captain_Judo: This is incorrect. Ties are broken using our tie breaker rules that
have nothing to do with alphabetical order.
lazyandlate, on Jul 28 2013 - 18:15, said: Awful awful demonstration of WGA. There tie breaker rules are not
even in effect, alphabetical order seems to be the positioning of
ties. A whopping 90 minutes of registration for a Blitz, please
WGA, YOU INDEED DROPPED THE BALL!!!!. Just by the turnout of that
Sunday blitz you can see YOU failed not us. Your response to these
people is a frustrated one, very unprofessional AND YOUR DAMN RIGHT
YOU SHOULD EXPECT PEOPLE UPSET WHEN THEY PAY GOOD MONEY TO PLAY
HERE. Cant handle that, find a different job.Captain_Judo: Again, this is not true. We do not use alphabetical order to decide
who wins gold.
Registration for each blitz lasts approximately 24 hours, not 90 minutes.
And as a matter of fact, I love this job

Puff_n_Stein, on Jul 28 2013 - 21:58, said: It would have been helpful if a different type of notification was
presented. I, like some people work for a living and do not spend
all of my free time on here. I get on here to play the tournaments
when possible. Daily life does take precedence. I play on the
Sunday tournament because of my work schedule. If the registration
deadline is before I get home from work on Friday, then it would be
impossible to register. Registration, in my opinion only, should be
done up to 2 hours before the tournaments to allow the working
people who monetarily support this game, can also participate. It
would be a convenience to us if this was doable.Captain_Judo: Solid feedback, Puff. I understand where you're coming from. As
some other players have mentioned, we've only just launched this
tournament format. We'll do what we can to make registration easy
and convenient. For the time being, we're focusing on ensuring that
all tournament battles pop with the correct settings.
reh3d, on Jul 28 2013 - 21:59, said: No special battles popped yet and battle is spoda start right
now?????Captain_Judo: All special battles popped as scheduled. Your team most likely
experienced a "bye" due to an odd number of teams in your group.
HULLRH, on Jul 29 2013 - 05:06, said: how is mondays gunna work with the server down?Captain_Judo: The server was down at 1am, not 1pm.
GlM, on Jul 29 2013 - 21:50, said: it's 3:48 12 minutes till the tourney starts. where's the
SCHEDULE!????Captain_Judo: Often times you'll need to click on a group/pool in order to see
the programmed schedule.
