suggestion...if the Registration period can be widened some, it would help in getting enough Team members, thus more teams...
Captain_Judo: Spot on points, Jazz. We'll attempt to make the information as easy
to find for all daily blitz participants. We're working on this
now. But thanks for helping answer questions where
possible.
As far as widening registration, we've only just launched this tournament format. We still have an admin process to streamline. Once this is efficient, we'll analyze possibilities for change.

and personally I feel really mocked. Copying and pasting tournament
info is not explaining how Group leader vs. Group leader tie
breaking works. Please explain to me which team would win in a draw when one team's group leader is dead but did 300 damage and the other team's group leader is half alive but didn't score any damage.
If you can't disclose this information then just say so. You don't have to copy and paste tournament rules in a crappy excuse to avoid answering.
Captain_Judo: Sorry chawe, sometimes I briefly answer remotely using my phone. I
should have re-read my response to read how it came across.
Draws are broken based on final results with other teams. Draws are unrelated to battle stats. In other words, dealing damage nor your team captain's performance is taken into account to separate tied teams.
It looks like dance broke down the posted draw rules below..

your question. It is more likely that he (incorrectly) thought that
you already understood what the terminology meant and simply needed
the draw rules to be posted for easy reference. While I am not 100% sure, I believe you are thinking about Group Leader incorrectly (either that, or I am). When teams are separated into different brackets, they are placed in groups. So the Group Leader, would be whoever was in first place (assuming there is only one group leader.
I'm going to try breaking down the draw rules, as far as I understand them, in bold. If I am wrong or am making incorrect assumptions, Captain_Judo or Yoott will correct me, I'm sure.
Draws at the end of the round will be resolved based on the following criteria (and in the following order):
**Note: For this example Team A and Team B are tied for second. Team C is the Group Leader**
Head to Head How do Team A and Team B rank against each other? Which team won when they battled. If they drew, move on to the next category.
Head to Head Against Group Leader How do Team A/B rank against Team C? Did one team lose and one team win? If both lost (or won) against the group leader, move on to the next category.
Opponent Strength - final rank of opponents that have defeated your team Did one team lose to the team in last place, and one team lose to the team in 3rd? The team that lost to the higher ranked opponent (e.g. 3rd place) should win the draw.
Complete Draw - gold split
Hope this helps and makes things a bit clearer. If you have any questions, or anything I said didn't make sense, please let me know :)
Captain_Judo: Thank you, Dance!
doktor9, on Jul 21 2013 - 19:11, said: So excuse the stupid question - I probably know the answer already
- but what does "Team Status: Declined" mean? Does it mean that
we're not in the tournament? Too many teams? Late entry? bad
breath?Captain_Judo: Your team likely wasn't submitted for approval in time. Please
remember that simply creating a team does not guarantee entrance to
a daily blitz.
jtgerik, on Jul 21 2013 - 22:19, said: So.. my team was removed for "technical defeat" ..and we've no clue
what we did wrong..Captain_Judo: Your team must be "readied" in order to enter battle. Try this
post as a brief walk-through over
special battles.
