Captain_Judo: Friendly reminder to all teams registering for the Open League
Championship Series:
Teams must be submitted for approval to participate in the Open League Championship Series, Spring 2013. You can find instructions on applying here.
Tier Limits
With a maximum of 7 players per battle (10 players per team) a team must field a selection of tanks based on the below tier limits. Teams are limited to a maximum of 42 tier points.Heavy: 8
Medium: 8
Light: 8
TD: 8
SPG: 8
A team must use 7 tanks to access 42 available tier points. A team with less than 7 tanks decreases their available tier points by 1 for every missing vehicle.
Regular Season- Victory Conditions
Only 1 battle will be played versus each opponent. A victory awards 3 points. A draw awards 1 point. A loss awards no points.
Each battle will last 10 minutes max.
The standard battle mode will be used. Playoff- Victory Conditions
The winner of each round is determined as the first to 3 victories.
Each battle will last 10 minutes max. with a 2 minute break between battles.
The standard battle mode will be used.
Prizing
The following gold prizes will be provided to each member of the respective team, including reserves, at the end of the season:
1st - 16th place: 500
League Notes & RulesThe top 64 teams from regular season play advance to the playoffs.
Teams ranked 1-16 are promoted to the Minor League at the end of the season.
Teams may replace players after every season.
A minimum of 3 players must return with the team, for the Summer '13 season, in order to receive an invitation to the Minor League.
League standings will be updated after every weekend.
Ties are ruled in favor of the team with the fewest battle losses followed by most battle wins, in that order of priority. There are no valid appeals for the draw rule in the Open League. All draws will count as one point toward a team's cumulative, ranking score. Please note this difference between the Open League and the Major, Minor Leagues.
All written disputes must be submitted within 24 hours of the round.
Schedule
Due to the number of participating teams, the Open League schedule will be released in partitions periodically.
Rounds begin at 7:30PM PDT (10:30PM EST, 2:30AM UTC the following day) each scheduled day (Fridays and Saturdays). Curious what time this is in your region? Use this handy Time Zone Converter to help you out!
Maps will be rotated on a weekly basis in the following order: Prokhorovka, Ensk, Lakeville, Mines, Himmelsdorf, Ruinberg.
