So if we draw quarter finals on Wednesday when the [edited]would the tiebreaker be scheduled for that when the SEMI FINAL IS 30 MINUTES LATER and the finals 1 hour after that? We will extend this tournament into next Monday because of draws?    Tie-Breakers are understandable in double elimination brackets, but this is just stupid.

HERE LET ME DO YOUR JOB FOR YOU!   https://worldoftanks...nts/1000000101/   Under the victory conditions for playoffs tab, and I'm going to rip straight off the website for the tournament for this:   Playoff brackets are built with a maximum of 16 teams per bracket. Each battle lasts 7 minutes max.
There will be a 2 minute break in between battles for each round.
The winner of each round will be determined as the first to three victories out of a maximum of 10 battles. (I bolded, italicized, and underlined this for you, just in case your eyes fail you.... again.)
If no winner is found at the end of 10 battles, neither team will move on to the next round.   Oh but this tournament I'm referencing is a skirmish tournament and this is a challenge. The rulesets are different. True but through the magic of the internet we can see a previous challenge's rules.   http://forum.worldof...niai-challenge/   From the forum post for the tournament: Playoffs Each battle lasts 10 minutes max. There will be a 2 minute break in between battles for each round. The winner of each playoff round will be determined as the first to two victories. There is no maximum number of battles. Double elimination begins with the final 32 teams. Teams advancing to the double elimination playoff must lose twice to be eliminated.   Really dude, how many times do you need to screw up before you actually look at how to competently run a tournament?

Why would you make teams that had literally NOTHING to do with the ties come in on an off day to play? What if we scheduled things for the evening thinking that we weren't going to have to play? It isn't the team's faults that two other teams drew out 3 games (which is pretty hilarious btw, not sure how that happens). A tiebreaker match could have even been scheduled between the round of 32 and the round of 16 last night (there was a 30 minute gap and a tiebreaker can't draw because it's attack/defense). Why was this not planned for? Even if there was no automated system in place, is it too much to ask that an employee of WG takes 10 minutes to watch the scores to make sure there isn't a situation like this? If someone was watching they could schedule a tiebreaker and have it be done with plenty of time before the round of 16 starts.   And even in this exact situation where there does need to be a tiebreaker on the next day (because it wasn't scheduled fast enough), there is an extraordinarily simple solution that only involves the teams that actually drew. And this is how it has been done countless times in the past. The teams that draw are both eliminated, however they fight for position 16 (loser gets position 17 and the lower gold amount). The team that was supposed to fight the winning team of the opposite bracket (the teams that drew) gets a by for the next stage, which doesn't happen for them because there is no team to face, and advances to the next round.   I'm not sure why things are different this time around. Even if it doesn't change since you've already made the decision for this tourny, PLEASE change it for next time. I really hate having to get on to play a tourny on a day where I have something scheduled in the evening (due to this day not being on the schedule). It used to be that if something like this happened, you'd never have to come in on an off day to play. Make it so that if there is a draw, it gets resolved in the 30 minute time period between rounds. It's plenty of time and that's how it probably should be done if we really want to be fair about it. At this point it's too late to do that, so my only other suggestion is to have the teams that tied play the tiebreaker, but do NOT get teams involved (and screw with their schedule) when they had absolutely nothing to do with it and absolutely no control over the outcome of other battles.

CabbageMechanic:   There seems to be a common misunderstanding of what was supposed to occur so let me clarify:

If two teams tie a Playoff Round the winner is to be settled by a single round Attack/Defense tiebreaker played immediately after the final scheduled match.  The schedule has time allotted to accommodate this.  Unfortunately last night, two match-ups tied out and the single Tiebreaker match did not initiate properly, causing the issues (apparently teams could select what side they preferred but the match would not load).  This single round tiebreaker is the simplest solution to the problem of drawn rounds, at least when it works properly.
I do understand the inconvenience to players who were not planning on playing tonight, it sucks and we are working on isolating the problem to prevent it from occurring again.
