T26E3 Eagle 7 Spearhead Release!

BigDaddyLaxative: Hey Tankers!   During Gamescom we released the T26E3 Eagle 7 to World of Tanks and along with it came a glimpse at the historic event this tank and it's crew participated in the Battle of Colonge.   On March 6, 1945, two months before Germany surrendered, the Eagle 7 made history when it was filmed taking out an MK5 Panther in front of the Cologne Cathedral. The soldier who fired the three rounds was gunner Clarence Smoyer, a Pennsylvania factory worker, who entered Europe via Normandy weeks after D-Day.   Spearhead: The World War II Odyssey of an American Tank Gunner chronicles Smoyer's experiences in Europe during World War II, and tells what happened after before and after the camera captured the historic footage.
