Courtesy to your fellow players

Дата: 23.10.2011 08:45:58
ARGO: Greetings all,
Today I am going to talk about courtesy in-game or on forum because I feel it is becoming ever more important as WoT grows. We all have to remember that this game like it or not is a world wide game where people of ALL walks of life come to play and have good competition and maybe escape the hum drum of their real life problems. I have seen and heard a lot about how sometimes we run into a little of what I call "culture shock" in which we all run into things like language barriers or just how others play the game. I for one have written many articles regarding good sportsmanship as well as in-game conduct but now I think we also have to look at where we all are as far as a community. The NA server spans through many different countries and has a great deal of really descent people and clans "as well as a few bad apples" but for the most part I think the NA forums / server is a pretty nice place and in saying that I myself as well as you all have to remember that when we are playing that we are all here to have fun and sometimes in doing so that means having a little patience with the new guy, the guy who doesn't speak English well, or the 9 year old who likes to push your buttons by chat boxing like crazy. Now I am not saying we should allow for any negative behavior, that's what support is for. What I am saying is that you may want to take the time when you can to get to know a player you may feel is struggling or is just not getting it. You may find that you can help him and in the process make yourself a new friend or even a clan mate. Heck, you may find this guy properly informed can be a one man wrecking machine and one hell of a platoon mate! In short I think the message I want to put across is pretty straight forward, Let's take each player, One at a time because it never hurts and costs you nothing to make a new friend.
