Vehicle Destroyed!

I know that most of the time a vehicle gets destroyed - from the most puny motorcycle to the largest tank - it just burns, or maybe even just smolders a bit. But since there is a small chance for an ammunition cook-off, in a tank, is there any chance of this happening in WoT - where killing an opponent's tank at hand-to-hand range risks you being taken out by secondary explosions? and perhaps leaves less of a wreck, and more of a hole in the ground?
