The grass is always greener on the other side....

Дата: 09.05.2011 17:00:21
ARGO: Ok, I have just revisited arty since the 1st BETA wipe and I here to give you another view on what I think about them. I played arty back in the beginning and really enjoyed my Bison and garnered quit a bit of kills per battle, I believe no less than 8 if I recall but as things go, I got ansy just sitting there pot shotting tanks so I decieded to leave arty and go heavy. Well time passed and now I have been all over the trees so I figured after seeing two guys ingame having so much fun playing arty I would put my TD on the shelf for a bit and have a go at it. Well the first thing I noticed is that a lot has changed, no more pin point like before but also some changes for the better too, Now you have a line out to whatever you target which is very, very, convienient when your in a hurry to scrap some guy and want to make sure range is adequit. Also I have noted that arty seems to load a wee bit quicker than before as well as does well with direct fire. Anyway I have tried the American arties and will say I am liking what I see. The hummel has always been a good staple arty for SPG fans but the American arties do well to in the direct fire and speed department so you don't have to limit yourself. Usually I would pick out a certain vehicle to talk about but Arty really are pretty good all around and excellent for learning targeting skills especially in the lower tier chasing around those fast lights. So in closing as my title says "The grass is always greener on the other side" does apply to SPGs. If you havn't tried one yet, you may want to consider throwing one in your garage for giggles and for skill honing because I will say with SPGs, you can't really make a bad choice.
