So... I just purposefully killed a teammate...

Was fighting an IS3, and a M4 sherman keeps darting in and out in front of me blocking my shots. The IS3 and eventually were both low on hp since we both landed some good hits on each other, I went for the kill shot after the IS 3 missed a round, but the M4 just jumps in front of me and fires shots (all of them bounced or did no damage) on the IS3... knowing that the M4 will dart back out and the IS3 almost fully reloaded, I shot my M4 teammate in the back, one shotting him and used his corpse for cover to advance on the IS3, and eventually killing the IS3 with the help of T20.
note: had I not shot him, the IS3 would probably had killed me for those not understanding the mechanics between a heavy vs heavy fight.
Based on the responses, it seems like its OKAY to jump in front of teammates after your teammates take the beating and the enemy is reloading so that you can leech exp/credits while blocking your teammates who have better guns than you for the off chance your shots go through.
I normally don't mind if teammates jump in front IF they are being useful. Had that M4 been a T20 or a panther, hell even a KV with derp cannon, I probably wouldn't mind because they would all be doing decent damage to the IS3 and not have all their shots be ineffective.

ARGO: 1. You decided to go in a toe to toe slug fest with a superior tank=bad idea.
2. You decided to shoot an ally instead of using time to gain ground=very bad idea.
3. You decided to post the event in the forum with the thought you did a good thing=extremely bad idea.
This was a recipe for disaster from the get go. As you know and have admitted, TKing is against all game rules so I would not be surprised if you get reported and banned ingame. You cannot blame your team mate for the predicament you got yourself into let alone punish him for it. The other player may have thought he was even helping you and even if he was not, it was not your call to pop him.
Either way, this thread is closed and junked before it can be trolled further.
