The scout sends the information to the medium and the medium is forwarding the enemy position to the SPG. That's why the SGP can see what the scout is seeing.

is..... Meaning you can have the best radio in the game and
BLAM!!!! your dead and you wonder why there was a guy closer to him
and he didn't light up? Because that scout had a low end radio and
his signal was to poor to reach you.
