Why do I suck so bad?

I haven't been able to save up enough to buy items like camo nets or whatever, or to upgrade my crew because upgrading the crew seems like a waste to me at this level. Once I learn a new tank I'm going to be ditching that old crew anyway and what's the use of keeping them around if I have to retrain them for a new tank anyway? My T28 crew is around 60% now, but I really don't plan on keeping this tank. The moment I have enough XP for the next one it's getting scrapped and maybe I can recycle the parts into something that's actually useful, like coasters for the coffee table or something.
I did the whole rush forward thing at first, but now I do play a lot more carefully. I usually try to hang back and protect the SPGs and that sort of thing. What I think bothers me the most is the 1 shot kills from people that I never even knew where there, it's like it's just no contest sometimes like I never even had a chance to do anything. It's not the other guy's fault though, I love it when I can get an easy kill too I guess I just wish the match making was more balanced.
