Reporting Team Kills

DDemon, on 29 August 2010 - 02:16 PM, said: I'm not the kind of person to report someone the first go,
especially with the annoying reporting process as it is atm.
At the time I just thought: Crap, this guy will cost us the match if he keeps that up.
So I simply did what people would do IRL when a tank goes berserk and shoots people.
Even so, did the devs not investigate? surelly there should be some logs, or do they only read the screenshot and see; Oh he TK'd and then they ban?
If that is the case then you can indeed get anyone banned even for accidental shots.
Which kind off takes grieving to a whole new level in were the developers/moderators contribute to the grieving.
Is that how a game is supposed to be run? even tho its beta.
I really hope some sort of mechanic is going to be put in place instead of this silly reporting system they are using now.
It should not be hard to check if a kill was accidental/deserved or not.
In this case the person damaged quite allot of his team mates before dieing... They could have checked the logs for that, if there were any.
If no logs regarding this are kept, maybe a good idea to start doing so?
Also, if they disallow team killing that much that they are willing to ban people for "accidental" or deserved team kills, why do they have friendly fire turned on in the first place?

ARGO: I say that we have all had a week away from WoT to think about a
lot of things. Some good and some bad. I think we should all go
back in there on Wednesday with a clean slate and a clear
conscience and try to start over. Then if people still wanna behave
like a 2 year old, report them with a screen shot and do it the
RIGHT way.
When you take it upon yourself to TK a possible griefer you only accomplish 2 things:
1. Griefer accomplishes what he started, YOU GET BANNED.
2. You then lower yourself to the Griefer's level and hurt your team by your abscents.
Good luck and good hunting DDemon
