Killing a Light who just run across his path and gets killed. The
TD could get banned simply because of the accident? Whats the point
of having friendly fire if unintentional/intentional both share the
same risk of getting in trouble/banned. (I was that light that got
sniped by the TD and popped in one shot) I don't understand the
system of "Punish innocent/jerks in the same rank"Or I hope you were certainly kidding where "he may be merciful if you apologize" leaving you at the subject of some jerk reporting you for no good reason over a pure accident.
ARGO: The way I see it is that if you have an accidental TK as I did and
make an effort "PM,email,chat" apology you have your proof that you
made an effort. In my case, he was in a lighter tank, I was in a IS
with a 122mm and he too ran infront of it when it went off. Any
descent player realizes as well as Admins that these things happen.
I out of good sportsmanship went the extra mile to reassure the
other guy it was. However a lot of delibrate TKers do not in fact,
they usually do it because:
A. You took a kill from them
B. You dared to cross their path in a tank they considered "beneath them".
C. They want to give you "payback" for shooting a friend of theirs on the other team.
D. They want your prey.
E. They are simply jerks who find humor in doing it.
One thing is for sure, They almost NEVER apologize when they do it.
