rate is a function of the performance of your computer in terms of
running the client software locally on your machine. Latency is a
function of the communication between the client software and WG's
servers which, in simple terms, runs the platform and coordinates
play between all the connected clients. You can have an
amazingly fast computer and get a frame rate >100 and suffer
from latency problems, which will manifest themselves as momentary
freezing of your screen, your tank or turret not moving and then
suddenly "jumping" to a new position (as the client resynchronizes
with the server), and disconnects, which will happen if the latency
climbs over a certain threshold for a longer period. Frame rate
issues are persistant, the severity of them varying depending on
the complexity/load of what is going on on your screen.
1LT_Dwayne: Ok thank you for the explanation. I never experienced any lag
today so I assume that my ping was alright. That mean it could be
my computer? The reason I say this is because the 2nd shot on the
kv2 seems to hit his lower plate witch I should pen 100% of time.
