Global Map Season 14 Feedback Request

It would be far easier to just attach a gold reward to every advance played.
If anyone can refute this and point out how direct competition is enabled with this map/ruleset then feel free to state how.
If anyone from wargaming wants to answer this as well please do. Im sure we would love to understand how wargaming felt this would be addressed in this season.

1984BigBrother: I'll take a stab at that Mo.. Don't kill the messenger though:

One of the most complained about things on the global map was the top clans (you included) were just using diplo to divvy up the map and hold large pieces of land without ever having to play a battle. This format drastically lowers the value of said diplo.  This season might need some tweaks but I want to point out a few things:
About the same amount (actually more) of gold is going out as previous seasons More than 70% of the map has been taken at the end of most nights - a lot of clans leave the map at the end of the night to play the next days revolts making it look a lot more empty then it actually is  There are currently over 200 clans on the leaderboard which is something that I haven't seen the entire time I have been in this job There is a better spread of gold from the top clans to the bottom ones IDK, why people are saying there are going to be too few revolts - there are 32 tonight and have been about that number every night (almost too many)
 There are clans that wanted to have more battles then the previous seasons allowed We also have increased the number of C2A's during this period for the clans that don't want more battles and just want a quick way to earn gold I will concede a few things: It started a lot slower than I expected (needs more quests for the first couple of days) I don't think ransacks help in this format, I would turn them off if we did it again. We moved the timezones forward 1 hour in season 13, which made sense for that season. In this season, however, since the ladders almost always fill up the battles go a lot later than I expected I would probably move them back It is missing something, I think all of you hit it in the head. A more direct way for the top clans to engage each other. Something like having 1 province in each time zone that gave out even more gold that would only make sense for the top clans to fight over. I don't know With all of that being said, I am watching the result of this season very closing and having daily conversations about it with the devs. Both of us are very interested in how this format works.
