otherwise. parim1331: Rather than the tech tree KV-2, the issue comes down to the
premium KV-2® which shouldn't be drastically changed due to it's
premium status.

staff. Anyhow, can you (or anyone) give a reasonable explanation
why they will not apply skill based MM? Majority of the games are
totally one-sided, e.g. 15-5 and this is totally due to the
differences in player skill. It baffles me that you guys have the
data, you see this happening, you see the player feedback, yet
nothing is being done to fix it. Is it fun to keep winning
15-5 all the time without no resistance? is it fun to keep losing
15-5 without any chance to win? It's like if you put Usain Bolt to
run 100m dash against kids. Not fun for either parties...if you
(the game developers) won't introduce skill based normal MM, the
least you can and should do is to make sure that the players of the
same tier are the same level. For example, the other day I played a
3-tier game 8-9-10 where the enemy team had a obj 279(e) and my
team had an E100...after the game I checked and the E100 player had
a WTR of 4.4k, the 279(e) was more than 8k...do you think we had
any chance? (and here we dont' even talk about tank difference
which was also enormous because the object is just broken...)
Now, I want to touch upon the ammo types. I think IN
GENERAL, the idea of having the standard shell deal more DMG with
less PEN and the premium shell having more PEN but less DMG is
good. However, there is absolutely no balance. For example, I have
played the Kranvagn more than 2k games (I know I know...). The 252
standard pen is atrocious against heavy and heavy TD filled teams
and the "cherry on top" is that the ammo types are also the worst
because the standard APCR has terrible normalization with its
already low open and the premium HEAT has no normalization and a
still kind of hideous 300 pen (if it had normalization it would be
better but can't ask for everything). BUT in a way I'm fine with
this because it makes me learn the game and the weak spots. Why do
you guys give free pass for some(most) of the tanks with
ridiculously increased premium pen? Like Obj 279(e) is again a
prime example. I saw on test it has 258 standard pen with 540 alpha
and 340 (!) premium pen with 440 alpha. 82 pen more?!?! why?? and
100 dmg less only? The ratios don't make any sense. with 340 pen
you basically pen everything so a free pass for damage for an
absolutely broken tank (I can't pen this tank even with premium
ammo when it's facing me and I'm sitting in my Kranvagn (which
is the same tier same class tank, it's bonkers) unless
I'm shooting from above) if premium pen is increased by 32%, why
DMG is only decreased by 19%? it's like whoever is working on the
game doesn't even play it or use any logic...this would be such a
simple task...keep the standard pens and alphas as they are and
increase pen slightly (!) while decreasing DMG slightly on the
premium ammo. Why go for these extremes... I sincerely
hope these chances won't come to the live server...parim1331: Many people have brought the skill based
matchmaking discussion up over the span of couple of last
months, especially since it has been used in Ranked Battles. Now,
the general idea regarding Randoms, is that as the name states,
it's supposed to be a random battle, there's no better explanation
from my side about this. Regarding the ammunition rebalance, I
reckon that the values will still be adjusted before the whole
concept goes live. Still, thank you for posting construction
feedback, we appreciate it and it certainly helps us do our
job!
