parim1331:   It has become an arcade game.  World of Tanks has always been an arcade game. Matchmaking, ammunition and HP pool rebalance are couple of things that are meant to balance out the battles.

parim1331:  In real life, double-barrel tanks were created in form of a concept, but not built due to technical, ergonomic and logistical constraints.

parim1331:  Concept of balancing, as a whole, is quite a broad topic. A bit after the announcement for IS-4 and E-100 changes, we noticed that balancing in form of applying patches to the existing system will not work in the long run. Thus we have decided to conduct almost complete rebalance of couple of aspects of the game, e.g the ammunition and crew. And as we know, creating and coordinating such changes, in a game that's almost 10 years old, is quite time consuming task.

parim1331:  From what I have personally seen so far, double-barrel tanks are quite situational and you definitely need to "feel" when and how to use them to the best of their capabilities. And of course, I encourage anyone to try them out if they're interested in the unique gameplay style that they will provide. :)
