a non offensive, short and non toxic comment in regards to WG still
not reducing arty numbers per battle like pretty much every single
player that doesn't predominantly play arty wants, yet that get's
removed and I get a warning for "non-constructive" which is
actually just a case of me being pegged and penalized for the
negative feedback you just outlines was fine and actively
encouraged. There's just no consistency and mods badly need to get
together, have a little meeting between yourselves and outline
what's considered acceptable and what's not because as it stands,
one mod pegs a player for something really mundane or genuinely not
toxic or offensive while other genuinely toxic and offensive
threads and comments are simply ignored, not just for a day or two,
but weeks and months. Did someone actually report
me for outlining that WG ignored one of the most sought after
requests by non-arty players which is to reduce arty numbers per
battle? I VERY much doubt that, so the mod himself/herself decided
themselves they didn't like it, not because the comment was
toxic or offensive since it wasn't, just simply because they
decided it wasn't constructive which you just outlined is fine and
encouraged yet that particular mod didn't think so, nor do from
what I'm seeing, any mods think it's wrong for the constant use of
words like cancer to describe game elements as either their thread
or comments within or have avatars or names featuring ppl with
special needs or conditions. No, peg the guy who found fault with
arty numbers not being changed and give him a warning. eekeeboo: Constructive feedback is what you like or how you think
things could improve. Your post wasn't constructive it was a
criticism of things how you would like to see them done and
anything else is not bothering. While simultaneously trying to add
digs about WG, developers and the player base. I'm sure you may
believe this to be perfectly fine, but the rules clearly state that
to be constructive and not break things in those areas.
And you talk about feedback being negative that should be
allowed, the key here is to be constructive. Just complaining and
insulting someone or people either directly or indirectly on the
issue is not constructive. The fact remains that the MM thread is
about MM changes that are being tested, not about derailing into
how you feel about whether artillery should be allowed or not or
how they should be limited in battles. Just as using words like
"cancer" to describe things in the game is also not acceptable,
when they're found they are also moderated. The thing
you need to take away is you need to worry first about your own
contributions and how they break the rules, not look to other
people and use them as an excuse for your own bars on rule
breaking. If you see something breaking a rule, then report it. On
the off chance it hasn't already been done so or is in the process
of being moderated.
