uninstall potential problematic mods you chose to not
unduly worry the player and just close his account later on
in a painless way..... How do you respond to people
claiming that they have either no ods installed or used just
mods from the Mod Hub? As there is no way to get a Review of your
ban its guilty when charged. Sincerly you could
randomly chose a 1000 Players as far as we know. They will have
done something ...sometimes ....For example I hate players with a Z
in their name..... eekeeboo: That's why users are told, in advance and clearly (and I'm
paraphrasing here) "Don't install naughty mods, you know what they
are, do it and you get a spank, it's up to you to look after your
mods and your game files". I've responded to every
person who's contacted me or created a thread about innocence and
their perceived innocence on the ban they received. There is a way
to appeal including support, forums, PM etc. That's why my name
appears so frequently in staff posts. 15:53 Added after 2

where any change could be registered by you. The big problem though
are modpacks and esp. their installers. I don't know what your
checks actually include there before you list them on the modhub
portal, but I doubt you can guarantee that they won't fetch extra
content from external sources (which can change over time). And due
to that, users have no way to verify that their install is safe
(other than completely avoiding mods), even if they only download
stuff from the modhub themselves. Unless you add a certificate
system as well, but that would probably only work for the new
container format, not the classic res_mods structure.
(personally I've stayed away from mods for over a year now as I got
tired of whole update mess every few days, so I'm not arguing for
myself either way)eekeeboo: The checks on the installers are pretty extensive, but
that's not to say that a mod in the installer does what it says it
will when it's updated or there's a funky work around, that's why
there's a chance we get it wrong and the bans would be lifted. But
thus far, because of the way the checks are done and the
investigations take place, as of yet there is absolutely no doubt.
The problems with future installer updates can be an issue, but the
systems put in place so far (Which I'm not inclined to share so
that people who do want to exploit it could use it) have so far
prevented any of this.

on alley of fame. How is it possible? Or u just let them take the
tanks using forbidden mods eekeeboo: There's far more than 2500 accounts on EU... those bans
weren't just those on the HoF they were the player base and were
definitely found to be naughty, 7 days bans for instance does not
mean all those people were in the HoF either.
