How would you make the game and the community better?

eekeeboo: For the full reply now.      I want to highlight I'm working on, with the team improving and revamping the forums to make them both more user-friendly and more pleasant to experience.    Some mentions of stricter moderation:  We already have quite stringent moderation, that receives a lot of complaints (from those who don't agree with the rules). People don't always understand (for some reason) the rules are rules. I know part of the problem is sarcasm doesn't always transmit well over text and can result in a ban or penalty when unintended etc.    Pinned How to thread:  I will look into "how to post a new thread" topic, but I feel this will end up the same problem of people already not reading rules and guidelines as it is.    Forum Negativity:  As always, I can't emphasise enough the importance of reporting posts that you feel break rules or are offensive. I go through the forums frequently when I can, but it's possible to miss things occasionally. Reports will generate a list of people who the moderators can then review. This system allows repeat offenders to be removed from the forums and hopefully improve the atmosphere.    Community engagement:  Wasn't brought up, but one thing I feel is important for the forum positivity and atmosphere is to have a strong interaction between yourselves and staff/representatives. We have a lot of wonderful people on this forum and some highly valuable individuals, but even these people will eventually lose enthusiasm if they're not encouraged or given support from people like myself. Part of my job is to have to stand against "popular" opinion sometimes and give the facts from the side of the business and the company. They're not always popular, but it's my job, and people that understand this or understand the behind-the-scenes reasons can and do get attacked personally for having an informed opinion and being knowledgeable.    Somethings that can't be changed:  Despite our best efforts and intentions, you can't help everyone. People are different and not everyone gets along. You have people from different cultures and backgrounds, different jobs and education all mingling this can cause a huge level of friction if someone is "stubborn" and set in their ways. The important thing to remember is to respect a person and talk to them how you want to be talked to. Like myself just because I'm employed by WG gives no person a right to talk to me how they please, I know I am not popular for the way I will not tolerate this abuse or the opinions, but I will always give my personal and honest approach to things. People deserve to be treated as adults and if you can't accept you should listen and read information and facts, regardless of whether you like them or not, that's the way it is. Which leads me to the next part. Some people feel they are right, and that caps lock and not reading are the way forward. I have little tolerance and patience towards people who choose to ignore and belittle my time and effort I put into replying to things, just as anyone would. If someone takes the time to give you a well thought out answer or think about your question, please do this, clearly you have missed something that you should be considering or thinking about.
