Arty have its tactical purpose but only in CW/stronghold etc... so delete those sick airstrikes from those modes and make artillery tank available for rent for all players with i.e. 3-4 skill crew but only in those special modes. PVE server for arty also sounds fair as a healthy path to reach tier 10 spg for cw...   About data analysis remember... There are players who like to play arty. There are players who are forced to play arty only becasuse they want to have tier 10 spg for CW. There are players who are forced to play arty only becasuse of those sick personal missions.   As same as @psychobear  i have tier 9 usa, 7 zsrr, 7 gb artillery and frech tier 5 abomination. I playerd them only for missions and to learn how to avoid them... I stopped when i realize it cannot be done. I dont want any compensation for arty removal. Indirect fire/he only guns are cancer of this game and they should removed asap   About xvm. If we 'remove' artillery from game, xvm wont be as toxic as it is now. Maybe som1 would still hate you becasue you are red/purple but there will be noone who could drop gifts from sky in your face from the end of the map only because he can...

eekeeboo:   XVM can always be a toxic tool, people will focus the higher "number" regardless whether it's purple or not, you will get goomba, you will get people rushing to kill you etc.  Artillery was also important in randoms in the days of limited TDs and Maus/IS7 on maps when artillery had to punch above its weight. Artillery has changed over time in the role it plays in battle, but it's still important to think if you want it in SH and CW, how do you plan to level those tanks and train them if you can't play them in randoms?

eekeeboo:   I've added this quote here as the person has made the statement for me.

Then they could nerf the tank a bit.   Also, if that E5 got into current game, it would be a weak T10 tank because the turret isn't impenetrable (just shoot premium ammo through cupola), the gun is lacking (in current WoT, just compare with SC) and it doesn't have 10 degrees of gun depression.

eekeeboo:   The E5 cupola was widely criticised because it was 330 round pen, great, not everyone has that choice and removing another weak spot with limited options in a generally capable tank made it very strong. Like with any tank over time, there's power creep, there are meta changes in tanks and the maps. Tank classes go through flavours etc. Premium ammo isn't always the answer or choice for people, something to also consider when there's a re-work.

Best way to learn is listen to comments players like Zeven, Orzanel or QB. On youtube or twitch.tv. If you just watch one of best PRO-S : Decha, who usually don't say anything during battle you will learn almost 10 time less then watching youtube replay analysis by Zeven.

eekeeboo:   Watching is better than nothing. Listening to players can help, I agree, but sometimes the reasoning behind choices can also conflict with the way a person wants to play. Not everyone likes to watch other people play games, just having someone able to see where a strong position on a map is, can help significantly. The trap of trying to learn from others by watching streams (that people fall into) is they try to emulate the skill level, play style etc, where they are not capable and still don't fully understand. It's like drawing a picture with connect-the-dots, you may have drawn a portrait by going through the numbers, but you still won't have learned how to do a full portrait and how to do it for different faces.
