Warplanes, where the Community is missing you by the looks of it.
And i really appreciate your activity. You know, as an more
experienced Player (at least i have a higher battle count) as the
"average player" i can't accept the typical explanations. When you
look at alle reports when 268 4 came on the server - every
experienced player said, this tank is broken OP (btw, same for
Defender, and you know what happened). Apart from all your
statistics, the Players playing this game on a higher level can
easily and immediately tell you, which tanks are too strong and
which one are too weak. Even for me, i think to balance higher
Tiers better then they currently are (not playing lower tiers, so
... i have no clue there). And this goes for many players -
the hardest job would be in this case, to find ... lets say 10 ...
dedicated good players who are willing to spent their time to help
you balancing. Statistics dont say anything about broken tanks, but
for the "usual" ones they would quite fast find some good balancing
points. Your Devs are lacking any ... action ... to find a
good balancing. For Example the mentioned Tiger II - its a
very old vehicle, and time and changed Metas havent been good for
him. It features a very accurate Gun and a good Viewrange, but low
Alpha, big Silhoutte and non existent armor. Additionally its very
slow for beeing on such a shabby platform. All this you can read in
the tank section for at least 2 years (as the Armor Buffing and
Russion overbuffing and 3/5/7 Meta started) - and nothing happened.
You can be honest to yourself - your Devs don´t give a F about old
tank lines (even the russians, look at the IS4 which has issues too
for years). When WG starts listening to his community (at
least the contributors, this would be a good start i think) they
could have avoided SO MANY Problems caused in the last few month.
Now you are facing the results of this ... arrogance or
unability (whatever you say) and the playerbase has declined much
more than it should have. Nonetheless, i wish you all the
best, and i hope that at one point they (not you, i think you do)
dont only say they listen, but do listen. eekeeboo: Thank-you and no worries! Hello to you too! I
will also emphasize that statistical analysis isn't perfect,
it prevents any bias that may happen from peoples subjective views
on a tank. And thank-you for the best wishes and kind
words, I hope that changes come soon and the WG fest brings some
welcome and anticipated changes

resource dont waste time on stupid "halloween" events and actual
fix the core of the game. Your lead developer should have a list of
priorities, I can't think why that crap halloween mode would be the
top of anyones list. What develop team allocates resource to that
crap when you have 1000s of customers screaming at you the game is
unbalanced, have evidence and have consistently raised similar
issues. Allocate resources properly. Its quite interesting
your general tone in the way you are answering is that everything
is fine, nothing is under scrutiny, WG are doing a great job when
it comes to balancing. This kind of feedback just perputates the
"we dont give a f**k attitude" that has corroded the communities
faith in the decision making. WG as a company don't appear to care
and are quite happy to display a general arrogance about it, even
when called out on obvious historic and current mistakes. A
complete lack of humility. As you can see from the responses
on this thread from your customers, as you can see from the games
most popular streamer QB, as you can see from decline in player
numbers, its not working, it isn't balanced and you as a
company are reaping what you have sowed. ( Dwindling player
numbers, lots of p1ssed off customers and a reputation of producing
a flawed product and being ignorant to that fact ). Not good at
absorbing feedback. No more lame excuses, balance properly
and fix MM asap. eekeeboo: This is (in no offence) a misguided perception. Not all
people who work on events work on balancing. A person who develops
sound does not develop models for instance. A person developing
maps does not review server stats/data. A development team has
people specialising in key areas. Not just a team of people who do
everything. As for the statement on the "decline in
numbers" - There are many reasons for this, some I understand as a
player, an employee and a general statistical and research geek.
Please take into account both of the above sentences and I
can only urge you to perhaps research information on the areas for
a fully informed opinion.

incompetence and milking are right. You have dev team that creates
tanks(not first year) then you have army of testers....you test
them before giving to us? After all that, where even a blind
man can tell you if its OP or just a huge crap...yet you make it in
to game as it is. SO dont tell me that it takes time
and what not, if you put in game OP tanks that make you money(free
exp) and then you nerf it. Its been jere from day one and
nothing has changed. Like old WT auf e100, who on earth put
it live as it was at the beginning, how unaware team of WG staff
has to be to fail to see that? How blind guys there are if
they dont see how they kill every old tier X tank....rarely see any
E5/E100/Maus.....but htne you add a 430U with a higher armor than
many heavies and all is fine, or you throw in that V4 that just can
sheese trough anything. Dont tell me that it takes
many months to fix it as it seems like that process is
autogenerated by some glichy program....there is just no way a team
ofprofessionals can put in game those fails after all this
testing.... eekeeboo: I remember the Wt E100 feedback, I was part of the people
who stated it's strengths, but I also remember the stats at the
time and at the time the joy FV215B 183s would have with HESH and
the old FV215B HE rounds etc. There's more to a tank behaviour and
game performance than (as mentioned) the performance of people on
the test server. The key is not having a tank OP in the best hands
while at the same time not useless in the hands of inexperience.
For instance, in the old days, the E100 was also considered
silly strong, for a long time. These changes take a long time to
assess, develop and test different changes and "fixes" assess the
best solution (if there is one). Sometimes the changes work and
other times not at all (note the Maus line changes that took a lot
of changes and re-working). Balancing isn't as easy as just
changing numbers when there are so many variables and so many
things to constantly change and balance. As soon as you balance one
tank, you have to look at the balancing on the rest of the vehicles
due to the knock-on effect on them. I'm trying to
explain how the balancing changes can take so long in the instances
it has.
