Why dont we like World of Warplanes?

eekeeboo: First point: It's not down to being over-powered and though i
liberally use the term, what it means is that when you know how to
use it, it's easy to keep using it and harder to counter unless you
know how. For example a kv1s is overpowered, unless you shoot it in
the back wheel or between the wheels at the back and regularly set
it on fire with little or no effort. Secondly: Very
true and i've highlighted above, planes requires you to be more
readily able to think on your feet and adapt, though if you play
esl and CW properly this will be nothing new as well as other games
like LoL or pro playing fps etc. Thirdly: Lemming
trains do happen, and though not great if you're a loner, at least
in planes you have a much higher rate of survival, and the game
relies on engagement, in tanks it leads to base race. As such
lemming trains though frustrating are no where near as
detrimental. Fourthly: Head to head do happen and
though not necessarily fail, unless you count kamikaze in which you
neutralise 2 of them together, and if you go head to head with a
plane that has bigger guns than you, which you can see on the
target window, well then you're a little bit silly ;) it's like
going ltractor vs e100 and thinking you're going to
win. Fifthly: Agreed, but i find it far more
rewarding in getting your enemy to crash into a falling bridge, or
into the ground/mountain etc and using cloud cover to turn around
and surprise them! Sixthly: Tier spread is the same,
and is a problem at points, but is being looked at my WG and as
long as there are a lot of people on-line, it actually becomes no
problem at all at near and at peak times you're lucky to go outside
matching against the same tier aircraft, whereas in tanks you will
always get a tier spread and varying types etc. Seven!
(yes i don't know this one!): It isn't about balancing, because
when you learn the different trees you realise that to every
aircraft there is a counter along the other trees, you just need to
find it and sometimes you just need to play intelligently and get
your enemy out of their comfort zone or their optimal engagement
scenario, and force them to get into yours, though not always
possible and practical, it's possible and the best pilots are
masters at this.
