Дата: 17.08.2011 21:25:02
admin: August 17th, 2011. Cologne, Germany. We are here at Koelnmesse,
with other 550 participants of the greatest gaming expo in the
world with our gorgeous military style World of Tanks booth. The
drive here is absolutely amazing!

World of Tanks booth at the famous exposition Gamescom 2011 in Cologne, Germany.
Electronic Sports League (ESL) with their huge purposefully concise booth is just behind us. The showmatch between World of Tanks devs and The Drill: Training Camp winners, Panzerknacker team, we promised will be held there namely. Our “nextbooth” neighbours are the League of Legends: Dominion, the ambitious Red V Studios (famous for headhunting a huge number of ex-Blizzard employees) with their action shooter Firefall, and Nexon, a popular game developer and publisher with a whole set of on-line fantasy games.
Variety is the spice of the expo. You’ll be trying in vain to find two booths that would look alike. Each one is cool in its own way. No wonder photographers take time in front of all of them. And ours is no exception. The public bursts in applause when our stylish military booth babes are dancing on stage. Even the prospective of winning a branded gaming laptop doesn’t impress the audience this much! And the chance to win it is huge! The open tournament is held right at the booth. Those who choose to try the game out at the tournament area of our game zone become contestants automatically. The player with the largest amount of XP will become the winner and get XMG A701, a great laptop to play World of Tanks! iPad 2 will be a pleasant surprise for a runner-up, and finally, the bronze winner will be awarded with Roccat Gaming-Set. This loot of prizes will be the zest of every evening at World of Tanks booth. The top gun of the night was the lad from Croatia, Hrvoje Habjanec, who beat 2067 experience with his VK 4502 (P) Ausf. A. The second and the third places got 1969 and 1825 points respectively.
Although the entertainment area was full of visitors, the first day is called the business day, and today people are, well, talking business rather than entertainment. And the good news for the media from Wargaming.net was that we have officially shown off the war machines of the new game to come which, apparently, is World of Warplanes. The battle aircrafts stunned the media representatives among whom there were both German and foreign famous gaming magazines and portals.
The first day of Gamescom 2011 is over. Tomorrow we expect you at our booth! You will find us in Hall 9, stand B032. Though we bet you will recognize us effortlessly as World of Tanks booth stands out thanks to its military yet high-tech austerity.
If you are not with us tomorrow, follow us on Twitter and check out the news on Facebook. See you tomorrow!
