melt into its environment with the help of paint. How would
painting the hull with dessert camo and then suddenly make the
turret dunkelgelb make it melt into its environment? That's why,
when you look at real camos, they're painted across the entire
tank. Heck even infantry does not only have camo on their clothes
but also paint their faces.Zapfhan: Yes and no When the first Camouflage pattern
for infantry was used by the Wehrmacht it often was just a "poncho"
so your helmet and trousers have the normal color. When it comes to
Tanks especially in the later war time when there was not enough
color to paint the whole tank they used to improvise e.g. full
white on turret to fit into the Environment but because you could
hide the hull they just used an improvised pattern. If
you look for example at the "early Dessert camo" of the Germans
it should be historical to use it with a "Dunkelgelb"
gun or turret but unhistorical to use it with the base Russian or
French color
