WG going batshit over CCs?

community contributor program and also asked him to remove his
content about the Chrysler K. from his channel. The reason for this
is not the fact that he criticized the tank or the company, but the
way he did it. The video was offensive inappropriate and frankly,
slanderous. I think anyone who has seen it will agree with me on
this. To be clear, we are fine with our contributors criticizing
our content in their videos and we don't plan to "censor"
their content in any way. However I think all of us can
agree that the CC program is built on mutual trust and respect. The
only thing we ask from our contributors is to respect that
relationship and the product/team they are working with. I think a
video full of insults and offensive remarks against us violates
that trust. This doesn't mean that we are severing all ties
with Foch, he is still a part of our community, but for now he
won't be part of the CC program. As far as Circon is
concerned, he is still our contributor and we will continue to work
with him. The video I asked him to remove also contained quite
personal and offensive content. Circon agreed to removed it after I
pointed it out. I hope that this clarifies things. If
you have questions about this please don't hesitate to do so here.

in the office. Hello. I have three "questions"
waiting for you, although I don't think I'll get any answers from
you. I had to quote your entire post, sorry for it and I'm sorry
for posting a brick of text in a very rusty English. 1) I'm
out of WG EU community for some time, but what happened to the
"make the video private, we'll watch it first and you'll release it
on XX.YY.2017? Whether the video inappropriate or not, that's your
fault you let that video being released. You, or whoever made that
decision to not doing that anymore, literally made the mistake, not
SirFoch, for releasing the video you (WG EU) won't be happy about.
It's total bs to blame the youtuber for releasing a video and total
bs to force him to put it down. Also, if it's true what SirFoch
said in his another video, if you threatened him to go through
(youtube) copyright rules and put ALL his videos down, you are
seriously making a mistake - you have to be damn sure if it's even
legal. Your product is free to use and your own policy states that
any person can upload any (youtube) video of your games that are
free to use. It sure looks like you certainly don't like the
things SirFoch and Circonflexes said about the tank, or about you
current premium vehicles policy, and that it's not about the WAY
they said it. 2) I cannot agree more about the mutual
trust and respect, however a) you damn well knew SirFoch when
you invited him into the CC program. You knew he talks the way he
talks. For me WG EU for the first time in, I dunno, three years
actually showed they want to build a mutual RESPECT with their
community and community contributors by allowing a person, who
doesn't agree with many decisions of the company, to join your CC
program. The mutual RESPECT is gone now. You let SirFoch DAILY
stream and upload videos on youtube where he clearly talks
negatively and... slanderously about the game development... and
suddenly that's a problem. I seriously doubt he could be more
"slanderous" than he was when talked about the new Maus "balance".
(Which again indicates you are either overworked or understaffed
and you don't watch your contributors' videos anymore to monitor
their work.) b) you talk about trust yet you don't allow your
playerbase to have it in you. Sorry to say it, it's my personal
opinion and also the reason why I don't play the game anymore,
because your contributors were the only source of trustworthy
information about any premium vehicles a random player can have.
Sorry, but I can't take the videos from WG channels seriously when
deciding whether to buy the tank or not. Especially if they're
limited - i.e. I have to buy them now thru gift shop and and not
ingame via gold.) It sure looks like you want your contributors to
say what you want them to say about your products, and that alone
destroys any trust you can ever have. I know you don't want your
contributors to look like they say what they are supposed to say,
but it certainly looks like it. I'm just saying how it looks from
the outside. It's not your contributors who violate the trust, it's
your community department again (or should I say the people above
it?). So the question number two is: Shouldn't you re-design
your contributors' policy to prevent any mistakes like today's? I
certainly asked for this two years back. People here on forums are
different from your paying customers, the percentage is tiny,
however where else you want to build a trust? Thru your
contributors exactly like Circon and Foch, who say thing clearly
and openly, and thru forums. Facebook and live events are cool, but
you can't build a community (with a trust) on them alone.
3) And that is exactly your problem here:
Block Quote This doesn't mean that we are severing all ties with Foch, he is still a part of our community, but for now he won't be part of the CC program
Wysch: You don't have any clear standpoint regarding anything
- modifications, game development, community management, gift shop
or premium shop or whatever it's called, agressive facebook
sales... and now you don't have a clear standpoint about your CC
program and SirFoch. For now he is not part of CC program.
Will he be one day again when the community staff leaves and new
comes? Is he banned from the CC program for good? Or what? Again...
no clear standpoint. You didn't have it when you let SirFoch join
the CC program, you don't have it now... I'm sorry, again, I'm just
saying how it looks from the outside. I'm not trying to defend
SirFoch, I can imagine why you let him be a contributor and I
can imagine why you had to remove him from there. In
the end you didn't achieve anything in my opinion - Foch will be
legally still able to do his youtube videos and streams, and he
will keep reviewing your tanks, because people will buy them for
him. You just managed to lose a contributor with pretty cool reach
(53k youtube subs and 1000 viewers on twitch?) and you lost your
way to monitor how he talks. If, just if, you let him use
your "premium vehicle for CCs accounts" and THEN check his video
before it goes live, you wouldn't have to deal with this wall of
text.
