Has russia imptoved its armor quality?

Tuccy: Not really. "Tank is dead" and "armor is obsolete" is a motto that went on since... Well, actually since first tanks and still doesn't work ;) The AT weapons work perfectly... Under test conditions and vs. obsolete targets mostly. In combat deployment, their accuracy is usually much less than desired and hits under ideal conditions are rare. So heavy armor still has a very strong role (after all, as shown for example in Afghanistan). After all... If a super-rare weapon can penetrate it, it still provides protection from most common battlefield threats... And even with the superweapon, armor can at least mitigate the effect.
