World of Tanks 2019 - Community Development Wishlist

Ph3lan: Hey guys,    The "deadline" for this is next Monday, but I went through everything so far and created a summary (See below). I'll add all the stuff you might post until Monday to this one and restructure the whole thing a bit for the report.  Disclaimer: - Numbers in () mean that there were multiple people suggesting the same thing - This is not the final report, it is still a WiP but I wanted to show you what I have so far - This list has been created based on this thread only  - I will make sure to share this internally however I want to make it clear that I can't promise anything specific   A couple of points: There is a lot of interest in the template system and MM in general. We just recently shared more info about this here. We will have more info coming about the MM in the future. Chat issues: I have been sharing regular updates about this here  Sound issues: We have implemented fixes for this in the 1.2 Update, if you still experience this on the Public Test or after 1.2 goes live, please let us know (with a replay and timestamp if possible) Arties: Currently I don't have any news about this, but I'll poke some people to see if we have any updates about the state of arties. Premium ammo: We have already annouced that we are working on a prem ammo rework which started with removing the gold price. We will have more updates about this later. Frontline: At this point we are now planning to bring Frontline back this year since we are still working on optimizing certain aspects of it (like the performance)    Suggestion Summary:   General Fix existing stuff before adding new content (3) Fix chat and sound issues (6) Bring back Frontline (4) Add more tiers to Frontline (2) Roll back or rework the new UI changes, shop/mission interface (4) Rework the spotting system (to complicated and too binary) (6) Rework the too complicated crew system (2) Rework the equipment system (2) Fix the hitbox problems introduced with HD maps (3) Possibility to hide your profile/stats, so XVM can’t use them (11) Add clock in garage (3) Introduce Grand Battles for lower tiers that typically see high activity/population, e.g. tier 6 and 8 (2) Lower RNG (7) Make 6th sense a default skill or separate it from the crew and make it a game feature (3) Introduce weather conditions (3) Possibility to make a regular tank into a premium (2) Add More maps (3) Prevent the spamming of pinging on the minimap (2) Fix physics (flipping tanks and “soap stones”;) Introduce Tier 11-20 with modern tanks Increase credit earnings Give light tanks a clearly defined role (currently they are bad mediums) Ability to buy special tanks with Bonds Introduce night battles Enable cross team chat but leave it disabled as default. Add the Israeli Tech Tree Add the Swiss Tech Tree Swedish SPG line ending with the Akv 151 Additional branch for German Tank Destroyers (with the inclusions of the Jagd E-50 and Jagd E-75 leading up to the Jagd E-100, and the JagdMaus after the JagdTiger.) Add British Light Tank line Add Tier 9 and 10 premium tanks Make it more worthwhile to play for non-premium players Tier 10 Premium tanks purchasable only with Bonds Possibility to transfer accounts between servers. Possibility to change the nationality of crew Introduce transfer of crew between nations Add more features from XVM into the client More tournament rewards Stop making/selling OP tanks Fix the reticle jump when I aim in the sky, right over the ridge or when i aim in small openings in bunkers on Sigfried line and similar obstacles Create a marathon shop where marathon tokens can be exchanged for rewards   Maps: Bigger maps (5) Limit corridor maps (3) Make unusable parts of maps usable, middle of the map is usually a no-go zone (2) Remove Paris Prevent higher tier on smaller maps Customization crew personalization for either bonds or credits possibility to change the gender of crew and pick gender during the recruitment process (also for personal mission crew) Premium ammo/Consumables: Remove/rework premium ammo (8) Should cost the same as normal ammo and should have clear advantages and disadvantages (3) Limit premium ammo possibly to ~10% (4) Arty: Remove arty (6) Limit the number of arty per match (14) remove and replace with call-in abilities Add a new arty line (3) Add premium arty Tier 6 or 8 (4) Remove/Rework the stun mechanic (2) Remove rapid-firing artillery from tier 5 and above Option to play without arties MM: Remove/rework template based MM (17) +/- 1 Trier MM (14) Prioritize 5/10 MM template over 3/5/7 Add skill based MM Tank balance: Rebalance Japanese heavies, remove derp guns (5) Fix the T9,T10 lights, they should have best view range of all tanks at the very least (3) Add frontal weakspots, that can be penned by AP) to every tank (4) Add Sturmtiger (2) Stop creating OP tanks like the Obj 268 (5) Rebalance older tanks to bring them up to par with the current state of the game (4) Light tank line for every relevant country Improve the personal mission tanks, T55a and obj260 aren't worth the effort Move the Panther 88 and CDC to pref status Rebalance in the British Tech tree, including vehicles and guns Expand aiming and shooting range beyond map borders, this way arty will be less precise when shooting someone next to borders.   Ranked battles: Don’t reward losses (to reward proper team play) Increase availability    Community: Better and more staff interaction
