Ranked Battles: Chances to Finish among Season Leaders Increase

Ph3lan: Hey guys! I can see that there are very different opinions about this change. I know that this was not an ideal solution, changing the rules of an ongoing competitive event is never an easy decision, but sometimes it is necessary. While the new ranked season is not officially in the "beta stage" anymore, there is still a lot of tweaks we need to do to get it to the stage where everyone will be happy with the mode. Optimally these changes should happen before the season starts, but in the end I think it is in all our interest to make the mode as fun as possible for as many people as possible. While it is not the most elegant short term solution, If this helps help achieve that in the long run I think ultimately it was the right one.
