about arty gun on type 5 heavy which can hit a heavy tank for 700
damage with no aiming is still not nerfed/removed ? or why when the
whole community is complaining about XVM , it is still not banned
by WG ?Ph3lan: These are relevant concerns. Me and the rest of the
community team are aware of them and we have passed them on to
our developers. I could go into details about how feedback and
stats/server data and a lot of other factors are considered when we
changes to the game, but this is not really what we are discussing
right now. My question was more about what the community team
can do for you. Our job is to act as a link between you and
the devs and Folau said that he didn't think that our communication
improved in the last 4 year. I was curious what exactly he/you
guys expect from us.

bugbears are lack of explaining why changes have or haven't been
made and treating the playerbase like idiots. So to take the
former. why have the current crop of maps been more inclined to
close range brawls and for the latter the video released as to why
the Defender was ok. I think, well I hope, that most players
realise that WG are here to make money but it's more the honesty
that counts and if that's unpalatable then best to say nothing. So
to go back to the Defender. Ok release a tank that is clearly OP
which is going to make a shed load of cash but don't then try and
claim that there aren't problems with it for the game as a whole.Ph3lan: While only a year ago I might have agreed with you when it comes to
the explanation part, now I think this is actually one of the areas
where we managed to improve a lot. For example when you look at
Update articles on the portal or the "Supper Test Leaks" we are
publishing on the forums and SM, these days it is not simply a dump
of raw data with the changes, they also contain the reasoning
behind those changes. We are also trying to provide you with a more
direct way of talking to our devs, by organizing a lot more
Q&As with them (this is something we can probably ramp up even
more soon). I think we actually addressed the Defender
question in great detail in our tankfest videos. https://www.facebook.com/WorldOfTanks/videos/10159570879805377/
