aha Ph3lan:
I haven't tried out the new changes on the live servers yet, since they are not on the live server yet
Without that I can't really say
that I know how he changes will play out although obviously I know
what our intention is with them.

I haven't seen any staff or dev commenting on that, providing at least some more insight on what is the actual role of LTs.
There has been lots of discussions on arty. Arty players say that arty class is being destroyed. Arty haters say that it became even worse. Both are unhappy. Yet, it would be nice to know some real examples of how arty is to be used now in randoms. Vague description of it being a "true support class" with loosing most of its hammer and gaining 2 seconds on reload does not cut it for me at least.
As an example of what I would expect is something that was published on UK heavy line when it was out - the detailed description of each vehicle, its weak/strong sides and typical game play.

itself. The only one who tried to improve the situation was
Ectar... Anyway, first of all, it would be nice to see some more
staff activity on the forums. Right now it's not even one staff
post per three (four? five?) pages full of threads. I'm not talking
about answering "OMGFU ARTY AND THE GAME IS RIGGED!!11" threads, of
course. But just just look at how long we long we discussed back
and forth with topics like mods. The fair play stuff. Updates
breaking things. Specials. Server crashes. General things that
requite an official answer. The contribution of the staff in those
cases is very low and I think I'm not the only one who feels left
alone and ignored. The next thing: What are you doing here?
Why don't you let us know every now and then what you are up to?
What feedback did you collect? What is going on in the bowels of
the community? To be honest... right now I don't even know any of
the community managers. Let alone do I know what they do here.
Maybe I'm a bit spoiled by other game communities I joined in the
past, but WoT does really stick out... in a rather negative way.
There is a lot of room for improvements. Ph3lan: I agree that we should be more present on the forums, I
can't really argue with this point. Believe me it is not for the
lack of trying though. Lately we actually managed to get more
active across all our games and we are working on stepping it up
even more (and we need to step it up way more I know).
Just a quick update on the team itself: Currently we have 4 members in the EN community team, me as the manager and 3 coordinators: MrConway, Kandly and Sael_ (she is with us for a time, but will be joining another team soon). We are working on the Social Media, Forums, events etc for all the Wargaming titles handled by the EU office.
As for explaining all the changes: I think that nowadays we are doing a pretty good jobs with our articles and we published pretty detailed ones for 9.18 regarding all the major changes. On the other hand I do agree that we should be there and answer your questions about the finer points of the articles and we are not doing the best job when it comes to that. We are working on it (that's why I am here as well).

removal of modules / adding new modules handled? I tried to get
some official answer, but all I got were answers from other players
based only on previous experience. //edited typoPh3lan: Configuration If you have vehicles that changed a Tier
in 9.18 and they are researched to the top configuration, they
retain it upon changing. Crew moves with the
tank Fully-trained Crew is transferred back to the Barracks
and re-trained to 100% for a new Tier. If you have Crew trained to
100% on a light tank that moves up a Tier, but don’t have this tank
in the Garage at the update’s release, the Crew will be retrained
for a higher Tier regardless. Emblems and camo. Emblems and
camo bought with Gold and mounted on Tier VIII vehicles that
move up to Tier IX will be removed. But fear not; you’ll get
the amount of Gold they cost you credited to your account.
Temporary emblems and camo you have on vehicles that move up a Tier
will be removed as well. In this case, you receive the amount in
Credits proportional to their remaining duration. Unique emblems
and camo are here to stay: they’ll get de-mounted from Tier VIII
vehicles and you can apply them to any other tank. As far as
equipment goes, it will be transferred to the depot.
