don't think anyone really wants to damage team members, regardless
if it's a driving accident or not. this rule is arbitrary and it
should read "Rounds where you did team damage don't count." full
stop Specially the "on purpose" doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
In 20k+ matches across 5 years I have damaged less then 10 tanks on
purpose. On purpose... So it's the motivation that counts.
Motivation is arbitrary as feck...Ph3lan: Accidental team damage can happen to anyone, sometimes you simply
can't predict what your teammates are doing. People can
drive in front of a shots aimed at the enemy for example, or
you might simply crash into your teammate with a heavier tank and
cause significant damage by accident. As long as this is not done
deliberately, this shouldn't disqualify a player from a contest.
And unfortunately there are players who damage their teammates
deliberately for as little as not getting the perfect sniping
position , 'kill stealing', based on their stat/clan or any
other made up offense. This is the kind of team damage I want to
disqualify from the contest no matter how good the match is.
