If you want superior armor you go for the Maus.
If you want good overall armor and a high alpha damage gun you go for the E100.
If you want superior speed and maneuverability with a high burst dpm gun, you chose AMX 50B
If you want a great overall tank with good speed and maneuverability and now even really good front armor you pick the IS7.
Why would you pick the T110E5? The only little edge I can see is the aim speed and good dpm on the gun but that is FAR from enough to sell the tank. Especially in CW where alpha damage is more important since you don't want to stand out in the open too long.
The T30 had a clear edge with its high alpha, high penetration gun. I did the hellish grind to the T30 for this reason. WG decided that the T30 fit more as a top TD which I can understand but the replacement T110E5 we get now doesn't have any real edge I can see.
As it is now it feels like a tank freeze tank, something you drive when your other tier 10s are locked.
Something you could do without changing any historical data and give it at least one real edge is to give the gun 300+ mm penetration(with regular AP). I know, 269mm is enough to penetrate any tank if you aim right. That isn't the point, the T110E5 need some aspect of it that psychologically put fear in other tier 10s like the Maus armor or the auto loader on the 50B and makes you want to grind for it and a 300+ mm pen gun could be it. It would also make it more viable in CW without using gold ammo which would give it an edge there. I don't think a 300+mm gun would make it OP since it's still easy to penetrate its armor for many guns in the game and easier to kill than a Maus, E100 or even IS7 for that matter.
Actually, thinking about it, give the T110E5 higher top speed and better maneuverability and it would fit perfectly as a tier 10 medium after Patton. I could be a great tier 10 medium, now it's an ok, vanilla tier 10 heavy.
By the way, on the latest test server the number used for the front armor for the T110E5 is the armor on the wedge between the upper and lower front plates, why don't you do the same on the IS7 which also got high wedge armor yet what is shown is the armor for the upper plate if I'm not mistaken?
