In my opinion of being a gamer for over 12 years and having played action and strategy games (CoD, UT, CS, EveOnline, CompanyOfHeroes etc.) online since 2005, this is gamebreaking and needs to be fixed as soon as possible. Otherwise, what's the point of playing with weapons that fail.

Overlord: Look attentively at the trajectory, you have hit the track twice.
It absorbed all shell damage. There are plans to rework the
existing mechanics a bit, making it more clear to players.
