Community Manager

Overlord: Community Manager (multiple languages)
Office: Paris
Type of contract: permanent
Main Responsibilities:
• Moderate and maintain current and future European forums of Wargaming.net's franchises.
• Actively communicate through forum postings, social media and other appropriate channels as required.
• Attend Wargaming.net events in person as required and interact with players.
• Seek and maintain contact with established fan sites to keep them informed and active
• Actively help with creation of fan sites as necessary and appropriate.
• Monitor forums and other channels to gauge mood, demands and general feedback of our player community.
• Gather and direct game feedback to game developers, collective and to individuals.
• Keep yourself pro-actively up to date with new content and product releases through self-guided e-learning as well as provided training.
• Engage in open sharing of best practices and peer coaching to ensure constant improvement of the service provided to our players.
Additional Responsibilities may include:
• Ad hoc translations of service articles and game related materials
• Participation in live events and conventions interfacing with our player community
• Stay in touch and engage with our player base by sharing tasks with our customer service team
• Prepare and contribute to community reports for distribution to internal contacts as required.
• Use social network platforms to keep the community informed and engaged.
• Other tasks as required
Requirements:
• Fluent in English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in at least one of the following languages:
o English
o German
o French
o Spanish
• Outstanding grammatical skills.
• Eloquent and able to express complex subjects in a simplified way when appropriate.
• Ability and willingness to work alternating shifts and weekends as required by the business
• Quick thinking and creative problem solving skills
• Passion for PC / video games and the ability to understand and emphasize with the unique needs and passions of our player community.
• Being enthusiastic about providing outstanding customer service and ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions.
• Team player with a high level of self-organization and collaborative personality
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
Pluses:
• Additional language skills at proficiency levels required to provide excellent customer service both verbally and in writing.
• Experience working in multilingual & multicultural environments
• Experience with online-based task tracking systems
• Detail knowledge of and passion for World of Tanks
• Strong familiarity with the gaming industry and online gaming communities
