I was looking some modules for different tanks and find out that some tiers for modules doesn't make much sense, for example:
Radios:
12LL (A-20): signal range 700m, Tier IX;
Fug Spg. A (Leopard): signal range 800m, Tier VIII;
Fug 12 (almost every German tank): signal range 810, Tier IX;
12RT (Soviet heavys): signal range 700m, Tier IX;
SCR 506 (M5): signal range 700m, Tier IX;
There are some tier IX radios with 700m range, and Leopard's radio got range of 800m and it's tier VIII.
Engines:
V-11 (IS3 and IS4): power 650hp, chance of fire 15%, Tier VIII;
V-12 (IS4): power 700hp, chance of fire 15%, Tier IX;
Maybach HL 234 P 45 (Tiger I & II, JagdTiger): power 870 hp, chance of fire 20%, Tier IX;
Porsche Deutz Typ 180/2 (VK4502, Ferdinand): power: 840hp, chance of fire 15%, Tier VIII;
Continental AV-1790-3 (T-34): power: 800hp, chance of fire 20%, Tier IX;
Continental AV-1790-5 (T-34 and T30): power: 860hp, chance of fire 20%, Tier X;
V-12 on IS4 has the same chance of fire like PD Typ 180/2 and 140 horse power less, but it's tier higher? Same goes for AV-1790, it has 40 hp less and 5% more chance to get on fire, but it's also tier higher? HL 234P45 has same fire chance as AV-1790-5 and 10hp more and it's tier lower?
Guns:
105mm Gun T5E1 (T29, T32, T34): ROF: 5-7,5, Penetration: 198/245/53, Damage: 320/320/420, Accuracy: 0,35-0,37, Tier IX;
10,5cm KwK45 L/52 (King Tiger): ROF: 6,32-7,69, Penetration: 200/244/60, Damage: 320/320/420, Accuracy: 0,32, Tier VIII;
Is it just me or that 1mm penetration with gold ammo that T5E1 has over KwK45 (245>244) doesn't make it 1 tier better? :blink:
There were some turret differences too, but they have some other factors (sloped armor) so it wouldn't be a good comparation based only on numbers.
Question #2: Is it possible that those tiers are given based not only on the stats displayed, but also on some characteristics that we can't see (like hit points for radios/engines, shell velocity for guns etc.), or is it more or less random adjusted?

Overlord: We don't pay much attention to module tiers, since they do not play any important role. And there is some inconsistency that has to be fixed. Thanks.
