Is it possible that instead of thinking that the speed boost is given by a consumable(nitro, etc) or a consumable turbocharger(which isn't right since you can't remove a turbocharger), you could name it something like "Commander/Generals Permission"?
This avoids the entire problem of naming the extra HP mechanic. By overloading your engine and turbo so that you can go faster, but you risk damaging the engine in the process. By renaming the consumable to said suggestion, a crew is granted to do so by higher authorities for important battles. A permission must be acquired for every battle, as a blown engine is rather expensive to repair. Therefore a commander must give his consent to do such an drastic action. Or it could be given permanently to an outstanding crew(if it is a permament consumable)
And some other questions aswell:
Question 1: Why is the German E-series the only top tier tanks to receive a consumable that boost their performance?
Question 2: Will the consumable be permanent or must be re-bought after every battle?
Overlord: 1. Eg see this.
2. It won't be permanent, ie must be rebought after every battle.
