The current system is simple and solid, but strange or funny in times because tanks drive like glued to rails... wen running over small obstacles they shake weird instead of goind smooth over it... so will you stick to the current system or is a better physics system (maybe with suspension animation like in other games with tanks) planned?

I experienced this mostly in German TDs, and many other players on the map have agreed with me. The spotting system benefits the north side. Will this be fixed?
In fact, I'm still getting spotted from 500m away in my JT. To what extent has the patch 'fixed' its camo (i.e. how does it 'rank' in comparison with heavy tanks)?

Other than that... good job.

9th tier Medium tanks stats
Pershing - best win ratio, best xp, best value for money
Panther 2 - just above T-54 in win ratio, xp, money gains
T-54 - worst win ratio, xp, money gains
Seems that the tank is UP - according to your methodology - and it needs buff...
But:
http://forum.worldof...post__p__595528
The quotation clearly shows, that you T-54 win ratio statistic etc. is changed by unfortunate fact, that T-54 clearly is driven by a lot less skilled players.
Seems the skill of player is influencing you _TANK_ balance. If you balance a _TANK_ you should minimize influence of player. Since you cannot balance players.
Still you are not going to rethink your way of balancing?
Edit. Seems I again risk ban or "It's a complaint on the way we do things" answer Unfortunately if you use wrong methodology of balancing tanks, then the game will be corrupted by this, and in chronic illness: "Acceptance is the first step toward healing"

Sempronius, on 01 June 2011 - 11:03 AM, said: I've read entire topic, and I am a bit confused now.
When T34 becomes premium and is replaced in tech tree by M103:
- Does T34 stays as tier 9 tank or is it lowered to tier 8?
- If T34 stays tier 9 does it stats (hp, armor, etc.) remain unchanged?
- What modules will be installed on premium T34? 105mm or 120mm gun?
- As I understand, T34 gets old crew (the one that will be at the moment of patch in tank) while M103 comes as a package (tank, modules, equipement (if any), 100% crew and garage slot) - am I correct?
Sempronius, on 01 June 2011 - 11:22 AM, said: Ad. 1 and 2:
Question: Is it possible for T34 to stay as tier 9 with it's current maximum upgrade?
Commment: WG's policy toward premium tanks is that they are "bit weaker" than researched counterparts. Same applies for T34 vs. VK45/IS4. 120mm gun is faster but weaker when compared to german/russian tier 10 gun ,T34 has ratehr low hull armor for tier 9, and besides front turret (but still not entire front) is quite vulnerable. That would be also good beginning for future tier 9 premium tanks for other nations.
tip, on 01 June 2011 - 12:05 PM, said: Well, this is strange. It is only (for march 11-25) 1.08% diff to VK4502, and 1.65% to IS-4. But, with your words:
1. The gap in avg exp/credits per battle and win ratio lies within 1-2%, which is acceptable.

1. T34 is doing not bad, the gap between T34 and VK4502/IS-4 is acceptable.
Now, what has changed in the meantime?

@Overlord: Are you going to release the patch notes for 6.5 some time before the release of the 6.5 patch just like you did with 6.4? And a followup: If the answer is yes how soon in advance of the release are you going to release the patch notes?

Are there any plans to release any Premium Tank Destroyers , as i am not really bothered with Heavy Tanks etc, but would seriously consider getting a TD for Gold ?

3) what other changes will be made to the pershing in terms of armor, firepower etc.
4) and an unrelated question: any chance to receive birthday presents in the form of gold from wargaming? would be a nice surprise

Overlord: Yes, currently we are working on improved physics, some of the
changes might come in 7.0.

Overlord: 1. There is a certain advantage indeed, but it is not crucial.
Planning to rework old maps gradually (the way Pagorki map was
redesigned).
2. Taking into account its size and gun, it's ok.

Overlord: 1. If we manage to finish it by the release of 6.6, then yes. The
probability is high.
2. Applies to medium path only.

Overlord: M26 Pershing: win ratio - 53.47%, avg experience - 508.
Panther 2: win ratio - 51.35%, avg experience - 480.
T-54: win ratio - 51.13%, avg experience - 474.
Overpowered T-54 is a myth, wrong common belief.

2. See 1.
3. Under consideration currently.
4. Equipment will be sold, M103 will get the same module setup you had on T34. The rest is correct.

Overlord: 1. T23 will be temporarily removed from the game. Yes, there is a
chance it will become premium one day.
2. It will keep the 2nd 90mm, one couldn't ask for a better setup.
3. You will be able to assess them during public test.
