Overlord: These are not history forums but World of Tanks official forums dedicated to the project. It's the wrong place to argue about history, better concentrate on the game and armored vehicles.

Overlord: 1. Most likely it will have standard tier spread for tier 5 medium.
2. M6A2E1 is on the exception list already. Haven't decided on Lowe yet.
3. It will be medium.
4. The list of available guns hasn't been finalized yet.

Overlord: 1. Don't know, looks fine in my opinion. Do you have any evidence that the size of Schmalturm is incorrect for 3002 DB, Panther.
2. Currently they both have 80mm hull. No changes in terms of armor are planned for Jagdpanther. As for Pz. III/IV, it will be rebalanced. There will be armor reduction from 80mm to 60mm and the respective increase of speed and mobility.
3. For balance purposes. JP is tier 7 TD, Panther is tier 8 MT. Compare SU-152 and T-44.

As now tanks are balanced regarding their Tier and not their armament, but too often mediums have to face heavies of the same tier, but in different teams.
2) Also often the game doesn't split tank couples between the teams. Two TDs as well as SPGs or couples of same tanks in general should always be adversaries.

Overlord: 1. The current situation will be improved by means of adjusting match-making values. Noticeable changes are supposed to arrive in one of the upcoming patches. Quite possibly, in 0.6.4.
2. This is not planned to be changed. 2 GW-Tigers can be balanced with 2 M40/43s. Don't see a problem here.

Overlord: The current performance of all tier 9 mediums is considered to be satisfactory. There might be changes, but nothing crucial.

Overlord: These are battle tier you are talking about, their are not vehicle-dependant. This means M6 and KT can fight shoulder to shoulder in tier 8, 9, and 10 battles. M6A2E1 can't join tier 11 or 12 battles, if not platooned.
Tier 11 and 12 vehicles are not planned. At least currently.

It's simply not a well-balanced match when a team has 10 TDs and your own team has 2. While I believe that balancing is generally fair if the players know what they're doing, situations like those can spell doom for one team depending on the map, especially if no arties have joined as well. I have a bunch of screenshots of this scenario and it happens very often when you play as a TD, for some reason (ie. I don't see many teams like those in regular tanks or arties but when I am driving a TD myself, it happens all the time).

Overlord: Battles can still be balanced with 7-8 TDs on one side and 1-2 of them on the other, again this is the matter of having match-making values adjusted.
Currently all tier 9 MTs, tier 8 and tier 9 TDs seem to be a bit overpowered because they enjoy low MM values. On the other hand, tier 9 HTs have to suffer because of their high MM-values. This discrepancy is being worked on at this time.
