A question: when can we see new modules like removed speed governor and such?
arkhell, on 05 March 2011 - 07:24 PM, said: Question can you atleast confirm something for me on the german open topped TD line:
Principle is Very high fire power low health and armor so.
Marder 3 gets the 7,5cm PaK 41 or 8,8cm L56/L71 < could of used it and was planned for it, or the 88's if not?
Dicker Max gets the 10,5cm < real gun it had so geussing this should be the top gun on it.
Stuer Emil gets the 12,8cm
Kazomir, on 05 March 2011 - 08:23 PM, said: So i was searching in the tankopedia and i found the Pz IV-V and its Alpla version.
Now, the alpha version is obviously for alpha players, and i saw it once, but i never saw a normal IV-V
Is this the beta tank?Seems properly european and its the same tier as the russian's KV-220 beta tank...
Lito, on 05 March 2011 - 11:04 PM, said: I have a question about what the devs said. It was said somehow like this: "We probably wont have 5x days before the release, but there will be a different surprise".
Was that surprise the championship or is it something else? I think a lot of people are wondering...
Allitair, on 06 March 2011 - 01:04 AM, said: Ok fair enough about the championship but i will imagine a lot of people will be dissapointed for 2 reasons. 1 there will be 9 teams overall that will win something (3 for each type). This means that a large amount of teams which is a large amount fo people will get squat and so they don;t benefit or get anything at all. 2 casual players who either play alone or with a small friend group which i guess is a vast amount of players will alsog et anything.
Will there be anything for the 80% of people that would get nothing from this championship?
Fimp3n, on 06 March 2011 - 04:55 AM, said: Will there be a "removed speed governor" for the German tanks? Tigers historically were fitted with speed governors to stop their crews from driving them at too high rpm, as the tank was damaged and broke down if they did. So an option to remove it would be fitting.
Thanks.
Kazomir, on 06 March 2011 - 10:57 AM, said: Only the participants are.. for all the others it is a release pullback.
Okay, i've got a question about the new Pagorki: Where exactly are the bases now? on the same places?
Allitair, on 06 March 2011 - 03:08 PM, said: with regards to patches, i havent been in many betas but from what i have heard they pump out 10-20 Mb patches ever week or 2 weeks etc.
I was wondering how come there have been almost no patches, or pretty much 3 over an 8 month period? Fair enough for major ones but things like changing a gun or tweaking models etc can't be given as soon as they are finished?
Vendelin, on 06 March 2011 - 04:16 PM, said: overlord, are there going to be some credits/exp adjustments come relase? or wil the exp/credit rate stay the same as its now?
B051LjKo, on 06 March 2011 - 04:40 PM, said: Question for Overlord
You train the crew to 100 percent on one tank (it doesn't matter which one, but let's say it is T-29) and then retrain it (either with gold or silver) and transfer it to an other tank (T-32) so you can use them without penalties. So far so good, but why do they "forget" to drive T-29 after retraining? Logics indicates that the crew should be qualified to drive both tanks, but the game limits their qualification for just one tank that they are currently trained for.
The question is: Is this a bug or a feature?
And also:
- if it is a bug: Can we expect its correction soon?
- if this is a feature: Why is this a feature, since logic indicates otherwise?
Thank you

Overlord: Yes, a few new pieces of equipment will be added, but their
development is at its early stage at this time.

Overlord: They will get the guns that were designated for them (the ones you
listed). Can't give any details on these vehicles, since we haven't
got tech descriptions for them yet.

Overlord: Pz. V-IV is tier 6 German medium that will be available only in
pre-orders. As well as M6A2E1 and A-32.

satisfied with it.

Okay, i've got a question about the new Pagorki: Where exactly are the bases now? on the same places?
Overlord: As far as I remember the bases are remain when they are now. Need
to check it though.

Overlord: We are working as hard as we can and of course would like to speed
up patching process. This is being worked on.

Overlord: It's a bug we decided to turn into a feature actually.
Because of some game engine limitations currently it is impossible to make crews qualified to drive several tanks. This might be changed in future, but currently is not being worked on.
