Improving German vehicles

Note, though, that the H38 has longer L/33 gun in-game.
Overlord: I won't apologise for my outburst, but I will try to explain. Several people presented, both in the "Armor Penetration" thread, in gun comparison thread (astrted by yours sincerely), in this thread etc. valid arguments aiming at penetration values of 50mm long and 75mm gun family in the game. Using fact-based arguments, we have suggested that you re-check the methodic that, by chance, states that difference between German and Russian test standards is the same 13% as difference between 30° and 0° armor slope LOS. Tests comparing 75/48 wit 85mm and 76mm US in same conditions were even presented, and based on them, 75mm/48 weapons (and by extrapolation all other German weapons suffering from the same "-13%") should have their armor penetration increased.
The only reaction, so far, was "statistics are fine". Nothing more. Not even "We passed the information on to our armor experts to check their methodology", let alone "Your conclusions are wrong, because...".
So... Did your team have a look at the Yugoslavian penetration tables and their correlation with their transfer from German tests to Russian standards?
In the end, I would remind the promised "Historical mode" some time in the full version - but it would be dead as dodo, if the gun stats aren't historical. If higher penetration gets the guns to higher tier - so be it. But the guns deserve the boost.

Overlord: Penetration system used in-game is explained here (posts 10, 13, 14), as well as the way penetration values of German were converted for its purposes because of the more rigid requirements (approx 1.13 reduction coefficient). Our tank and warfare experts did check the methodology and came to the conclusion that it is working fine currently.
So as not to give you false hope, it should be said here that any kind of mass buff for German guns is unlikely to happen. The purpose of the thread is to determine the most obvious and significant issues of German vehicles that are to be fixed, not to redesign the basics of the game. Penetration values go beyond.
