But yeah it fits pretty well that even from a angle of 70° or steeper the armor is only counted as 83mm...

If you want to determine the level of KT's armor protection than it is (side turret) 80@20deg=85.1mm
Picture. Screenshots don't feature apertures correctly. It is impossible to determine crossing angle between the shell and the armor according to the pic. That angle is more important in terms of penetration.
