MrConway: It isn't possible for other players to target your internet connection as they have no way to get at your IP address. As others already mentioned we sometimes have issues when major internet nodes on the way to us get overloaded, this can effect entire countries.   Check out this article and have a look at your connection, that way you should be able to narrow down the problem.   If you can't find the issue or need any help, please feel free to contact our customer support team.
