GIFtastic Competition

MrConway:   Commanders! Over the next two weeks, we are challenging you to create some awesome gifs, to show off how explosive, exciting and sometimes random this game can be!   We will be choosing the best Gifs at the end of the contest. If they are particularly excellent, they might be featured on our Facebook page with your player name credited.   The rules for this contest are as follows: You need to create a GIF, upload it to http://giphy.com/ and link it in this thread The GIF needs to be of your own World of Tanks gameplay, or battle which you took part in The GIF cannot be created from other Players existing online video content, you may be asked to provide a replay The GIF can be a maximum of 10 seconds long The GIF needs to be linked in this thread by the 4th of February at the latest You can use video editing software to add text or other items to your GIF Anything added to the GIF needs to be non-offensive and allowed as per our forum rules Mods are allowed The winners will be chosen by Ph3lan, Ectar, Brynd and myself. The choice will be final and cannot be questioned. By submitting a GIF to this contest, you give us permission to use this GIF in any way we choose. All posts in this topic should be strictly on-topic, off-topic posts will be removed. Prizes can only be credited to EU accounts   Please note: If you are challenged by the community on whether your submission was taken from an already existing online video, we will ask you to submit a replay and link for the respective battle. For anyone who has never done this and is unsure, we recommend checking out OBS (Open Broadcaster Software). It is a free software that will enable you to capture your gameplay from the client. You can find a basic quick start guide here.   The video can then be uploaded to YouTube and converted into a Gif with Giphy.com’s own GIF maker, or converted locally.   I am sure that there are many among you who know easier or better ways to do this and we do encourage you to share these methods here.   Another good resource is the freecam mod for World of Tanks.   Here is an example taken from one of our official RNG compilations:
