The event was originally planned to
end on the 15th, with the option to extend it until the 29th of
September. The missions are implemented server side and needed to
be available for the whole time period, hence the active missions
in the event calendar. It was decided that while the game mode was
well received, it needed more polishing and did not warrant an
extension for the full month in the current state. Sorry for
the lack of communication on this, I will try to have the news up
ahead of time in future.
