first of all. But you are not coming off too well. I'm sure you are
a nice dude but you sounds defensive and condescending.
For example you say you need enough data. But there are many
many unbalanced vehicles that have been like that for years. Surely
you can experiment and test without several years of data and make
a decision? Why does it take such a long time? I guess we'll never
get an answer to that, as I imagine it's just not a priority for
Wargaming. Personally I would be happy to not have
any minigames, other modes and so on in exchange for
balance fixes. Take that minigame dev team and put them on real
balance if that's possible. Good luck and thanks for
listening. Kayi4ek: I'm sorry if I sound condescending, but I didn't mean to. We
are going through huge rebalancing process right now and the
"butterfly effect" is something we have to encounter. I would like
to say the things you want to hear, but unfortunately I can't
for now. Game development and balance might
seem easy (I thought the same before I joined dev team), but
the complexity of the game is making it really hard. Our goal, as
development team, is to continue with the process and provide fun
for our players. But we have to take look at the game as a whole,
which can be difficult to understand. As I said before, this
was really huge change for me, because I had to throw away my
subjective point of view. The thing is that we are making game
for the players all around the world and feedback or requirements
from the players might be different. When I'm talking about
the data, I'm not talking only about the "hard" data (WR etc.),
together with that we are taking in consideration your feedback
from the forums and social media. We also listen to
our influencers and we are running our own surveys via the
game client.
