1v1 NewMultiCup - Q&A

I just don't understand how that's fair against the other 2 who did not get the chance to play for first place. I feel robbed. A tie is counted as a lose for both teams, but what if the other player has no opponent.. It's just not fair... And if it is then PLEASE explain that me.
