They knew the direction you went and If there is bunch of tanks, sure the arty will shoot blind shots especially on tier 2 when the loading time is really short for the arty. The arty missed many times because the tanks were not on the spot but there is nothing wrong about blind shots. And If you play the way that you have even 4 tanks on one spot, its really easy for the arty to hit something. Besides the fact that you were often blocking each other which makes it even easier.
