which high tier german medium tank line to go for?

There are a lot of things that will
help you in your quest for learning: Not leaving the battle and
learning from other players by watching their mistakes. (this also
includes watching live streams and youtube videos.)
Learning weak spots. Watching the mini map this is the most
important thing alongside of
learning the maps and knowing where the enemy will
advance. Joining a training can such as SGTA
Platooning with better players.
Reading guides and knowing about
camouflage. (remember if they can't see you they can't kill
you!)
Armor penetration mechanics Learning tactics.
The list goes on ... But the thing about World of tanks is you can
have 20k battles plus and you still learn something new each day
any player will tell you this. However, what I would do is
not rush through the tiers you learn a lot with the lower
tiers. Don't get the bug of woaahh ...that thing killed me its
bigger and it has to be better so I must have it at all
cost....Only to find, when you get it you can't make it work like
the one that killed you. (this is down to learning) I think the key
is find a play style that suits you and work with it, Like
