Am I hopeless?-In need of advice.

Here's the link to that: http://www.noobmeter.com/player/eu/FoolishPedro/509587059/   So yeah,I'm still pretty much a tomato,But I want to improve in every aspect of the game,and it is a game,thats got a steep learning curve.I'm barely over 1k battles,and I can't decide wether I have improved,or I am still a POS (well,in theory and by statistics,I basically am,but sometimes I feel I'm better than some of those [edited]on pub matches) Somehow I feel,I'm on the right track,and these are the basic things that I do know of:   -Armor angling -Ammo types -Different tactics(like hull down) -A bit of camo mechanics (still learningxD) -Minimap:D -Different mods (I have some aswell) -A bit of spotting mechanics -Weakspots -Crew mechanics,skills,perks (a bit)   These are the things which cross my mind for the first time.Also,I'm reading the forums,guides,watching Jingles,and QuickyBaby,and reading WoT Wiki,and reading different comments,to dig in more,and learn even more.Also,I'm not rushing tiers as you can see by my stats.I'm still at tier 5,and trying to be as useful to the team as possible.And I'm not planning on moving to tier 6,until I hit at least 1.5k or 2k battles.   Lastly,my problem is,that I have a soft spot for German tanks if I can say it that way,but I heard they are much harder to play,than other nation's tanks.As you can see,I have some 120 battles with my trusty Pz. IV,and if you ask,I'm using the 75 mm top gun on the tank,not the derp.And it is indeed a bit harder to play german tanks in general.Also,I like the russian heavy tanks,and the american mediums (even liked the M3 Lee,lol),and maybe try the russian meds. But I don't know exactly,which tree do I want to go down nor do I know,what I am really capable of.So,to give you some idea, I like to brawl,support,flank,and push in general.   To wrap it up,I'd like to know:-Am I that bad with barely 1k games? -What nation(s)/tank line(s) should go down? -How can I learn more? -How can I increase my win rate (as you can see,it is almost 50 percent,so almost there:D) -How can I be more effective,also,how can i rack up kills,and do more damage?   I know,that the guides contain some of the answers,but I'd like to hear some of your opinions,and suggestions,and I'd really appriciate the help.And feel free to comment not to just these ideas,but in general.   Thanks for the help in advance guys!   PS.: Sorry for any mistyping,English is not my mother language.:)
